Noah's Pain

He watched solemnly as the doors close
Sealing the fate of the men who cared not
A single tear, a pained heart
While people danced and partied and whatnot

An aching soul, a burning desire
To save his dear ones, those who were lost
But then no more, the door has been shut
The head was turned away when it mattered most

A fierce storm, an angry wind
Screams and yells, for them to come in.
An aching soul, a tear-stained face.
Sorrow, grief, longing and pain.

He watched solemnly as the doors close
And so did the fate of some he treasured
His heart ached and he grieved for them
But they cared not, and their deaths were procured.
